APR recently proposed Emirates Airline, to make a video with their sponsored football club, Arsenal, which has a strong following in Pakistan too. This PR activity conceptualized the video to be a special thanks to the fans in Pakistan for their support and loyalty. The idea, the script and the storyboard were all presented by APR along with the players to be included.
The video was officially launched on one of Pakistan’s most popular football pages on Facebook, ‘Football Planet’ and within an hour, it went completely viral on the social media. It was also launched on the official Emirates and Arsenal Facebook pages. This was the first time any major European football club had sent across a communication like this especially for their Pakistani fans.
Till last count, the video had over 10,000 shares, more than 150,000 views, over 25,000 ‘likes’ and close to 20,000 comments. The video became so viral that major news publications like Dawn and Express Tribune also published a story on it.
